saadelfadil18@gmail.comTake a screenshot on your Android device, then open the sharing menu (usually the share icon or "Share via"). Find and tap SnapTask in the app list. SnapTask opens automatically and begins processing immediately — no extra steps required.
Screenshots are stored in SnapTask's private app storage on your device and are never uploaded anywhere. You can view them in the History screen and delete individual items or everything at once. Uninstalling the app permanently removes all data.
SnapTask uses Google's ML Kit bundled Latin text recognition, which works best on high-contrast printed or rendered text at a readable size. Very stylised fonts, extremely small text, handwriting, or low-resolution screenshots may produce incomplete results. Try sharing a larger or sharper screenshot for better accuracy.
Version 1.0 uses the Latin-script OCR model, which covers all languages written in the Latin alphabet — English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Italian, and many others. Non-Latin scripts (Arabic, Chinese, Cyrillic, etc.) are not supported in this version.
Check three things: (1) Alarms & Reminders permission — go to Android Settings → Apps → SnapTask → Permissions and confirm it is granted. (2) Battery optimisation — some Android manufacturers restrict background alarms aggressively; try excluding SnapTask from battery optimisation. (3) Notifications — ensure notifications are enabled for SnapTask in Android Settings.
Delete individual items from the History or Reminders screens inside the app. To wipe everything at once, go to Android Settings → Apps → SnapTask → Storage → Clear Data. Uninstalling SnapTask removes all screenshots, extracted text, reminders, and settings permanently — there is no server copy.
Yes. SnapTask runs on any Android device with Android 8.0 (API 26) or higher, including tablets and foldables. The Share Intent flow works identically — take a screenshot and share it to SnapTask from any app.
SnapTask version 1.0 is completely free — no in-app purchases, no subscription, no advertising. If monetisation is introduced in a future version, the core functionality will be clearly documented, the Privacy Policy updated in advance, and users notified before any change takes effect.

POST_NOTIFICATIONS
Shows reminder alerts at the exact time you set. Requested only when you save your first reminder. Denying it still saves the reminder — it just can't alert you.

SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM
Fires reminders at the precise minute you chose. Without it, reminders still fire within an approximate window. Declared per Google Play policy for reminder apps.

RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED
Re-schedules your pending reminders after a device reboot so they still fire on time. No personal data is read during this process.
